Very Important: Register to Vote in the Upcoming USA Elections!

  1. Absentee Registering to Vote: Registering to vote in the upcoming USA elections – with an Absentee Ballot – is a straightforward process with direct support from the USA Republican Party. Although this information is primarily directed to Israeli Dual Citizens who live in Israel, it is also well-applicable to USA Military Families and also Dual Citizens of other countries.
  2. Importance of Registration: Registering to vote is very important. The upcoming elections are expected to have a huge impact on the direction of the country. The most-effective way for your voice to be heard is for you to register and vote if eligible. In many cases, there are very large differences between the candidates of one party or another globally as well as locally. The up-and-coming vote could very much change the security and liberty of countries world-wide, and the right cannot just be taken for granted.
  3. Main Registration FVAP Link: The main election registration link is: https://www.fvap.gov/ This is the web-page for the Federal Voting Assistance Program.
  4. Select Last State of Residence: From there, select your State of Last Residence. The purpose of this is to verify that you were a resident of one of the United States. The State address is very different in most cases to the address that you want the ballot or registration information sent to, which in most cases is – of course – your address in your country of residence with your dual-citizenship. Also the registration in some cases can be printed and mailed in from a different address than your United States Last Resident State.
  5. Select State (California Example): In example, we can select California. That takes us to this link: https://www.fvap.gov/california
  6. Driver’s License Option (California Example): If you have your driver’s license or California ID available in this case, you can start California’s Online Tool with the link: https://registertovote.ca.gov/
  7. FPCA SSN Identification Alternate Example: However, if you do not have this driver’s license information available, there is the alternate possibility of selecting the link “Start the FPCA”.
  8. Start the FPCA Process: Start the FPCA by accepting the privacy notice, and select the State of Last Residence: That goes to the acceptance of the privacy notice at the link https://www.fvap.gov/fpca-privacy-notice. After acceptances of the privacy notice, that goes in this case to https://www.fvap.gov/r3/fpca/state
  9. Select the Last State of Residence and Jurisdiction: With the selection of California as the Last State of Residence Example, the state selection goes on to select the Jurisdiction within that State; it goes to https://www.fvap.gov/r3/fpca/jurisdiction . From there, if Sacramento is selected it goes to the link: https://www.fvap.gov/r3/fpca/classification
  10. Select Current Residency Classification: If “U.S. citizen living outside the country, and my intent to return is uncertain” is selected and then “Next”, it goes to the link: https://www.fvap.gov/r3/fpca/my-information
  11. Last Resident State Form using the Social Security Number or Driver’s License or State ID: That goes to a form that needs to be filled out according to the last Resident State in the USA, which is very different in most cases than the address that the ballot needs to be sent to, which relies on the last four digits of the Social Security Number or alternatively Driver’s License or ID Number.
  12. Submitting the Last Residence Information: Then, that goes to filling out the last house address in the last Resident State at the link: https://www.fvap.gov/r3/fpca/residence
  13. Submitting of the Address and Confirmation: That – after being filled out and submitted – goes to the page https://www.fvap.gov/r3/fpca/address
  14. Receipt of the Registration Form: Then that goes to the ballot-receipt page at https://www.fvap.gov/r3/fpca/ballot-receipt
  15. Select Method of Receipt (California Example): One is able here to select the method of email. Then after submitting that, it goes to the page https://www.fvap.gov/r3/fpca/additional-information

16. Select For Which Elections to Receive a Ballot: There it is possible to select “All elections for which I am eligible.” Then submit it.

17. Review Provided Information: Review the information provided at the page https://www.fvap.gov/r3/fpca/review

18. Print and Download the PDF: Finally that submission goes to https://www.fvap.gov/r3/fpca/print

Download the PDF package, print and sign, and then mail (or email – if that is an option) well-before the deadline. Adobe Acrobat DC should be used to view and print the downloaded file, as a stand-alone application rather than the web-bower-plugin, since it tends to format the page better than the plugin. (Note of course that Adobe Acrobat is a Trade Mark of Adobe.) And that is it for now!

Hopefully with all this great information about your vote, you will have the needed confidence to impact the world! If you have questions, feel free to leave comments. Although these may not post, because of limited resources of the web-developers, they are generally received. Leaving your contact information is of course optional.

There is also a dedicated email address set up for web-feedback: mailto://republicanisraelifeedback@republicanisraeli.org

Also, I have a dedicated email address also – more dedicated to actual voting process experiences than site feedback. That is: mailto://republicanisraelistephen@republicanisraeli.org

For those needing support for voting there is the dedicated email address: mailto://republicisraelisupport@republicanisraeli.org
